The Land of the Berbers, Madrid & Barcelona tour is a 16-day Spain & Morocco journey that combines the cultural richness of Spain with the exotic landscapes of North Africa.

The experience begins in Madrid and continues to Barcelona, offering a self-guided exploration of Spain’s most iconic cities. The journey then moves to Morocco, where a fully guided adventure takes you through Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, and into the dramatic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, Midelt, Erfoud desert, and Ouarzazate.

This tour blends European elegance with North African heritage, creating a diverse itinerary filled with architecture, culture, desert scenery, and historic cities.

Tour Program

Day 1 – Departure (Night on Board)
Flight departure from your home country with overnight stay onboard.

Day 2 – Arrival in Madrid
Arrive in Madrid and transfer to your hotel. Free time to explore Spain’s capital.

Day 3 – Madrid City Experience
Discover Madrid with a hop-on hop-off panoramic bus tour, exploring both historic and modern parts of the city.

Day 4 – Free Day in Madrid
Enjoy leisure time or join optional excursions such as Toledo, Ávila, or Segovia.

Day 5 – Madrid → Barcelona (High-Speed Train)
Travel to Barcelona by high-speed train. Free time to explore the city.

Day 6 – Barcelona Exploration
Discover Barcelona’s highlights such as Gaudí architecture, Gothic Quarter, and seaside areas.

Day 7 – Barcelona Free Day
Optional activities include visiting Sagrada Familia or Park Güell.

Day 8 – Spain → Morocco (Flight)
Fly to Marrakech, marking the start of your guided Morocco experience.

Day 9 – Marrakech City Tour
Explore Marrakech, including its medina, souks, and historic landmarks.

Day 10 – Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat
Travel to Casablanca, then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital.

Day 13 – Fez → Midelt → Erfoud (Desert Region)
Cross the Atlas Mountains and head towards the desert landscapes of Erfoud.

Day 14 – Erfoud → Ouarzazate (via Ait Ben Haddou)
Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah, before continuing to Ouarzazate.

Day 15 – Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Return to Marrakech for your final night.

Day 16 – Return Flight
Transfer to the airport and return to your home country.
