The Self-Guided Tour of Madrid & Barcelona is a flexible 9-day Spain experience designed for independent travelers who prefer to explore at their own pace.

This itinerary focuses on Spain’s two most iconic cities — Madrid and Barcelona — combining cultural discovery, architecture, gastronomy, and free exploration time. Unlike escorted tours, this package includes flights, accommodation, selected activities, and transport, but allows you to travel independently without a full-time guide, offering a more personal and customizable travel experience.

Tour Program

Day 1 – Departure (Night on Board)
Depart from your home country with an overnight flight to Madrid.

Day 2 – Arrival in Madrid
Arrive in Madrid and make your own way to the hotel. Enjoy free time to explore the Spanish capital’s vibrant atmosphere, historic streets, and local cuisine.

Day 3 – Madrid City Tour
Participate in a guided city tour of Madrid, discovering landmarks such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Royal Palace, and Retiro Park. The rest of the day is free for personal exploration.

Travel independently by high-speed train from Madrid to Barcelona. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time.

Join a combined walking and panoramic tour of Barcelona. Explore areas such as the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona Cathedral, and enjoy a city overview including Montjuïc and the coastline.

Day 7 – Free Day in Barcelona
